In order to get to the beach, we had to get off the main road and drive 9 kilometers on a narrow, unsealed road.

The views from the road were truly beautiful - both, on the left, through the bush and over the cliffs,

and on the right, over the green rolling hills.

We had to leave our car at the end of the road and we hiked down to the beach. Walking down was much easier than climbing back up, but it was unquestionably worth it.

There was an unexpected obstacle on our tramp to the beach.

The boys made it safely to the other side.

The beach was breathtaking. And we seemed to be the only people there.

While I was taking pics of this spectacular site, the boys played.

Later, Eric took over the camera.

We had a fantastic afternoon!
